CloakBuddy is a network of luggage storage spaces. All you need to do is book a slot and drop your luggage with one of our many trusted partners. It's simple! Cloak with our partners and experience hassle free travel.
How does it work?
Are you looking for a place to store your luggage? You’ve landed up at the right place! We work with a network of shops/hotels/stores who have secure extra spaces at their premise. Customers place bookings through our website to store with one of our convenient partners. Once you’ve booked you’ll get a checkin OTP. All you need to do is show this on your phone to the partner when you drop off your luggage and remember to bring photo ID.
How safe is this?
All of our partners are vetted by CloakBuddy and have a secure area for storing your luggage.

What is the size and weight limit that can be stored?

Do not worry at all! On rare occasions, due to some unexpected error in payment flow an order may not be thoroughly processed. Any amount deducted in reference to a failed order shall be refunded back to your source account within 10 working days. For time being, you can proceed with another order.
Can I modify my booking?
Modifications in bookings like name, date, time, bags, etc can not be made through the website. In cases like extension of days, time, bags, etc you can make as many additional bookings as you wish through the same account. In other cases, you can chose to write to us at

and we'll see what can be done best.How do I cancel my booking?
You can chose to cancel a future booking by visiting the corresponding booking in my bookings
Is there a cancellation fees?
Absolutely not! You can choose to cancel as late as 'just before scheduled checkin' and we will refund you your full cancellation amount.
How long will it take for the refund to be processed?
Upon cancellation of any booking, it may take upto 10 working days for any amount to reflect in your source account.
What all can I store at a CloakBuddy partner location?
Our main focus is suitcases, but we can store other items like bikes, equipment and strollers too, please email us at

We strictly discourage storing valuables like important documents, money, jewellery, electronics, and items of extreme importance.
What all items are prohibited for storage?
Items prohibited by law at public places such as drugs, arms, explosives and similar things are strictly prohibited. We discourage cutomers to reserve cloaks with our partners with an intent of babysitting any kind of living beings at their premise. Please also read our

and we’ll get back to you with a discounted quote.What do I need to carry with me at the time of checkin/checkout?
You only need your proof of booking including OTPs (on your phone is fine!), a copy of your photo ID to show the host - and your items to cloak!. A valid photo ID proof (Pan Card/ Passport/ Aadhar/ Driving License) will be needed to be shown to the partner at the time of checkin and checkout.
What if I am getting late for checkout? How can I extend my booking? Can I get a delayed checkout?

Ofcourse! Just make a booking and share the checkin and checkout OTPs with your friend/family. Our partner will be needing these OTPs to validate, accept and release the luggage. Please note that even in such cases, a valid photo ID proof (Pan Card/ Passport/ Aadhar/ Driving License) of the friend/family will be needed to be shown to the partner at the time of checkin and checkout.
What do I do incase my CloakBuddy partner is closed at the time of checkin/checkout?
We're very sorry - rarely factors out of our control mean shops/partners may be open different times to their normal opening hours. If this is the case, call us straight away on

. We will a) contact the partner to find out how soon they can open; or b) if we can't reach them, arrange for storage as nearby as possible. If neither are possible, we will of course refund you for the inconvenience. Within reason, we may help cover alternative travel arrangements you may need to make. If you have a plane to catch, we strongly recommend not missing your flight. It is normally cheaper to ship bags than to re-book a plane ticket. This is why we also insist that you keep all necessary travel documents with you. Please do take careful note of the opening hours - if you arrive after the partner has closed to collect your luggage, there is not a lot we can do, but we will always try our best to help.What happens if I don't show up for checkin?
Checkins are allowed at anytime between the booked slot. However, if you do not turn up for checkin, your booking is tagged as 'No Show' and it automatically ends at scheduled checkout time.
What happens if I don't show up for checkout? What happens to my unclaimed baggage?
In case you do not show up to collect your luggage/bag/belongings beyond checkout for 24 hours and without prior communication to us, CloakBuddy and/or its partners shall turn up the deposits to local Police and shall not hold any accountability of the deposits thereafter. In case of situations where you are not able to turn up until 24 hours of checkout, you need to inform us at the earliest by describing the situation through an email to
support@cloakbuddy.com
in advance as well as pay for the requested duration beyond scheduled checkout in advance.Is it necessary to book in advance?
It is always advised to book in advance to reserve your cloaks at the most preferred partners before you reach at the location to drop your bags. However, most of our partners offer sufficient cloaks. So you can book last minute on our website as well.

How do I find a CloakBuddy partner?
Simply type in your city and the nearest desired landmark (within that city) into the search bar, and the website will automatically search partners in order of proximity of the landmark.
